With mango season at its peak, we are devouring mangoes like crazy. My daughter is the most ardent fan of mangoes and she is enjoying this season. We too love mangoes, but after starting with the diet two years back, we both stayed away from mangoes last year and before last year. But this year the scene has changed. As I have started counting calories of food intake, I am making it a point to include mangoes in my macros and so am enjoying the fruit without any guilt. When I was listing out recipes to try for this no cook Kid’s Delight theme, I wanted to make three mango based dishes, but somehow, I couldn’t skip cold coffee from the list. So two mango dishes for the week. I am sure you would have loved the mango rasayana I posted day before yesterday.
Today’s recipe is even easier. And it is also a three ingredient recipe. Make sure to use sweetest mangoes, but if they are sour, you can add more sugar to compensate. Use home made yogurt for the best taste. It is better if you have the yogurt chilled so that you can serve it immediately as soon as you churn the lassi. I have already posted Lassi, Kesar Malai Lassi, Cardamom Lassi, and a healthier version of Kefir Avocado Lassi. Today’s lassi is with the king of fruits – mango. This is the only lassi Sruti enjoys as it has mangoes. Make sure that the yogurt is not sour, otherwise it would not taste that great.
