Hot Chocolate Bombs are cute chocolate spheres filled with your favourite cocoa and marshmallow mixture to make delicious instant drink.
The weather is so cold and Chocolate bombs are the latest craze every where. Where ever I turn, I see chocolate bomb in social media. Even I was so tempted to make them. So I ordered for the moulds, hot cocoa mix and set out to make them.
It did take a few tries to get them right, but I am still improving. I have used chocolate compound to make these beautiful chocolate shells which hold the cocoa mix inside. Using compound is far easier than coverture. If you are making it with coverture, you need to temper the chocolate before making the shells. As it was way too technical, I used compound. Yes, I don’t know how to temper chocolate properly. Still learning!

Once I made these cute bombs, I immediately posted the photo in FB and insta and it got rave reviews. I promised everyone that I shall post the video soon and here I am with a simple video. Hope this helps you to understand the process. Making the bombs is not really tough.
You melt chocolate, pour it into mould, chill it and set it, fill with cocoa and seal it. Sounds easy right, trust me, it is easy. Use low heat to melt your chocolate, because if over heated, they may seize and can’t be used. Use a double boiler or MW on medium to melt the chocolate. If possible, I will make a separate video for that. In this video, I have kept it simple.
