For this month’s Kid’s Delight drinks, I chose to make three different types of milk shakes. Last month also I chose to make three summer coolers, so it has been six different drinks and my daughter loved them on her holidays. As the summer was too hot during May, I chose this theme so that Sruti will have a nice time enjoying the drinks. The first drink is her favourite. I am sure every kid is crazy over nutella, but looking at the ingredient list, it is mostly chemicals and it is better not to give it to kids. So I make it at home, which is really tasty and way better than the store bough one. And I tend to use it up in dishes to give some variety.
Do you remember the nutella filled paniyaram I made last week? This milk shake is the final dish I made with the batch of leftover nutella. It is really tough to remove all the nutella from the jar, so I added some hot milk and let the chocolate melt into the milk. I used up every last drop of nutella from the jar. Now I need to make another batch. I know the pictures don’t do justice, but the shake was really fantastic. I had a cup of store bought ice cream and I used it up for this milk shake. If you have chocolate ice cream, then it would be way too better. Making the milk shake was pretty easier. Just put everything in the blender, pulse until frothy and serve immediately with a scoop of ice cream.
Ingredients:
Chilled Milk – 1 cup
Nutella – 2 tbs
Vanilla Ice cream – 2 scoops
Chocolate Chips – 1 tbs
Procedure:
In a blender take one cup of milk, one scoop of vanilla ice cream and nutella.
Pulse until the shake is frothy.
Pour it in a serving glass, top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some chocolate chips.
Serve it immediately.

What a nice way to use up the leftover Nutella! The milkshake sounds delicious. I am loving your series of drinks.
This is an awesome drink to enjoy by kids or adults alike. I like how you used the last bit of the Nutella using this recipe. I also add some warm milk to the last bits of chocolate syrup and use it up.
I always think I should do the milkshake with the leftover nutella but never come around doing it. Kids try to lick as much as possible heheh..and rest is just discarded..this is indeed a great way to enjoy a drink!
I have a bottle of Nutella that nobody wants to touch 🙂 my kids will love this milkshake ..
My kids will go crazy if they see this milkshake. How pretty and catchy this drink looks. Am sure this shake will definitely please anyone’s tastebuds.
I am sure kids who love nutella will love this milk shake as well. Fantastic presentation.
Such a cool and delicious drink. I love Nutella. You’re so right that things like peanut butter and Nutella are so difficult to remove completely from the jar. Good idea to add milk and give it a good shake.
Wow Gayathri! I’m going to ask my kids to read this post. They will also come to know that Its not me only who is using up every bit of the thing. This nutella shake is looking so tempting
