Whole Wheat Waffles Recipe (Baked)

My daughter is a crazy fan of waffles. When we eat out, she makes sure to have a waffle with ice cream. When daughter likes something, I try to make it at home. I was looking for waffle makers on Amazon, but nothing was good. The quality was so inferior, I didn’t want to waste hard earned money on those. The only good waffle makers were all commercial and were too expensive for home use. Then I saw these waffle moulds and it was just perfect for me. Though it won’t be as good as the traditional waffles, it would serve the purpose. Do you remember the three ingredient chocolate sauce recipe I posted? Every time it comes up in the feed of FB, someone will ask about the waffles. Though I had all the pictures, I never got the time to draft the post. Finally settled down today to do it.

The best thing about this recipe is that no refined ingredients added. Wheat flour, brown sugar are the major ingredients. This recipe has one egg. I will post an eggless version soon. Please wait for it. The procedure is quite simple. Just take all the ingredients and whisk to form batter. As the mould is silicon, you don’t have to grease it. Just pour the batter, bake it. Once the top is done, remove it from the mould, place it upside down and bake further for a nice crispy waffle. Serve it with chocolate sauce, caramel sauce or any other fruit based sauce and if possible, a scoop of ice cream on top. You kid will love it for sure. My daughter wanted some cranberries, so I added them on top. The below waffle moulds are what I ordered from Amazon. I am yet to use the heart shaped one. I will use it for the eggless ones.

  1. Should i bake second time by turning the mold upside down
Or should i remove the waffle from the mold and then Bake it again

  2. Your site is broken on Android, the most widely used platform on earth. A pop-up appears, but “x” to close the popup is off the screen. So it is impossible to close the popup so I can read your site. I tried a dozen times, orienting the screen repeatedly. Maddening.
