After non stop month long mega marathon, I am back to the normal BM, where we blog for three days a week. This month is quite special as BM enters its 100th edition. I am a proud member of BM from the first month. Though I have missed a few months, I have participated without fail in most of the months. I didn’t want to miss out on the 100th month, so here I am even after non stop blogging for a month. This month, I have selected four themes, one for each week. The first week, I will be making three dishes with just three ingredients. As Sruti is home for her holidays, I made all the three for her. When kids are home, the main meals won’t be a problem. But thinking of snacks surely gives me jitters. She doesn’t want a snack to repeat. So I am always searching for new recipes. One huge advantage is that whenever I make a new recipe, I get a blog post from it. So I try to incorporate the themes while choosing the recipes.
For the first day, I made a delicious chocolate sauce with just three ingredients. I ordered a waffle mould recently and made some whole wheat waffles for Sruti. How could I serve waffles without sauce. This easy breezy sauce came in handy while serving the waffles. The sauce was made with callebaut and so it tastes absolutely amazing. The cream and liquid glucose makes it a smooth and creamy sauce, which can also be used as a dip because of its thick consistency. The waffles recipe needs to wait a bit, but let us take a look at the recipe for the sauce. If you can get corn syrup, use the same amount as the liquid glucose mentioned in the recipe. Keep the sauce refrigerated if not using immediately. For using, slightly warm the sauce and then use.
