Whole Wheat Waffles Recipe (Baked)

Ingredients
  

  • Whole Wheat Flour / Atta - 70 gm
  • Baking Soda - 1/ 4 tsp
  • Brown Sugar - 1 tbs
  • Salt-a pinch
  • Egg - 1
  • Milk - 130 ml
  • Vanilla Essence - 1/2 tsp
  • Ghee-1 tbs

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, sugar and salt.
  • Add in egg, milk, ghee and vanilla and whisk until a thick batter is made.
  • Pour it into a rectangular waffle mould and spread the batter evenly.
  • Bake in oven for 10 - 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and flip the silicon mould.
  • Remove the mould and let the waffles sit on the baking tray.
  • Bake for another 5 or 10 minutes until slightly golden and crisp.
  • Serve it hot with a warm chocolate sauce or ice cream
