I will be sharing the recipes for vegetarian paleo diet and meal plans so that those who follow vegetarian paleo find it easy to cook. When I started paleo, I didn’t even know what to make. But after 16 days of cooking, I have already got the hang of it. Using only vegetables and paneer, now I create new dishes everyday so that it doesn’t become a boring affair. Let us start with a basic recipe.
When I read about this butter tea recipe in Paleo Diet by Neandar Selvan (tamil) I was so skeptical. I had no idea how it would taste and is loaded with butter and how it would be a diet food. This recipe is a twist to the Tibetan Butter Tea. There are just two ingredients in this recipe and this is our breakfast for the past two and a half weeks. The use of whole milk and butter makes it a filling drink and you will not feel hungry for more than four hours. There is no sugar in this tea and don’t be afraid. The natural sweetness in the milk is more than enough and the flavour is so different. I felt that it had the flavour of freshly baked bread. If you don’t believe, try it and you will know it is true. Using whole organic milk is better than using the packed ones. Don’t go for skimmed milk. This is a high fat diet.
Ingredients:
Organic Milk – 250 ml
Organic Butter – 15 gm
Procedure:
In a pan heat milk.
Bring it to boil and add butter.
Once the butter melts, pour it into serving glass and enjoy!
Note: This recipe is just for a single person. If serving two, double the recipe. Only then you can be hunger free for four hours.
This is the actual Tibetan butter tea, with tea leaves and butter. Please read the post before deciding on what to drink. Click on image for recipe.
Disclaimer: The recipes I share are the part of vegetarian paleo diet I have been following. I wouldn’t say that this is authentic paleo as paleo consists of meat and very less milk. This one is for those vegetarians who don’t even consume eggs.

Can we add salt n pepper little in this tea. N if wants to add tea leaves than which one have to use pls tell me. Tia
You don’t have to add salt and pepper. But you can add tea leaves while boiling the milk. Add 1 1/2 tsp of tea leaves to it. Any tea would do.
What’s whole milk .. Why the paleo color is like this ?
Whole milk is the one with no fat content removed or with high fat content. I buy fro dairy where they don’t process milk.
