What an exciting month September was. It was the month of mega marathon where a group of bloggers get together and blog non stop the whole month (except for Sundays) with a chosen theme. This year, September was the month of flatbreads and more, where a blogger can chose to do flat breads around the world or flat breads around different states of India or dosas and crepes across various states of India and this needs to be in A-Z order.
I chose to make international flat breads as I love exploring world cuisine a lot. Making them in the alphabetical order was a great challenge but it was such an interesting project. I did a lot of research on the breads around the world, read about so many cuisines, so many customs in different countries and when I finalized the list, I was extremely happy. Though I did change a few in course of time. The preparations started six months back and I slowly started ticking off the breads from the list. I mostly made the breads on week ends so that Sruti can enjoy them hot out of the stove / oven. She was so happy that I chose to do flat breads as she loves her breads. With so many varieties of breads, she was absolutely delighted. She is the one who looks forward to all my mega BM.
This is the round up of all the breads I blogged about this month. Some are baked, some are deep fried whereas some are cooked on a tawa. You will find all types of sweet, savoury and cheese breads in this post and I really hope you enjoy them. Click on the picture for the recipe of the particular bread. Have a virtual tour around the world with all these delicious breads.
