Sundal is a very healthy dish suitable for an evening snacks. It uses less oil and makes your stomach full.
The Recipe:
Ingredients:
Channa dhal-1cup
Mustard and urad dhal-1tsp
Curry leaves-4
Grated coconut-2tbs
Salt-to taste
Hing-1/8tsp
Procedure:
1. Soak dhal for 1 hour. Boil water and add dhal and cook till done.
2. Drain water and keep it aside.
3. Heat oil and splutter mustard, urad dhal, hing and curry leaves.
4. Add dhal and salt and mix well.
5. Switch off flame and add grated coconut and mix well.
6. Serve hot with tea or coffee.
this one is my favorite ..every Saturday my mom used to make n served us as a side for rice ..it taste wonderful with ghee rice..yummy
u can use thst water by adding some garlic tempering n enjoy like soup ..
