Homemade Condensed Milk in Ten Minutes – Video Recipe

Making condensed milk can’t get easier than this. I used to make condensed milk with milk and sugar which would take nearly two hours, but still it won’t be as smooth as the store bought one. This Diwali, I wanted to try condensed milk when I saw the milk powder pack. That was an experiment which gave me amazing result. I posted a video on FB and everyone was asking for recipe. So I decided to make a video next time. I first posted this video in an online session in FB and I was pretty overwhelmed with the response I got from viewers. So I made it into a YouTube video for both of my English and Tamil channels. Please view them and share your thoughts.

The best thing about this recipe is it gets ready in ten minutes flat. Like any milk based recipe, even this forms a skin while cooling. So either keep stirring the mixture while cooling down or place a cling film on top so that it won’t react with air. This would be so cost effective when compared to store bought tin. And you can refrigerate this for upto ten days. Use it in cakes or sweets or desserts.
