This is one dish that reminds me of my chat days. I used to love chat and whenever we go for outing, we make sure to have a chat of any type. But it has been a long time since I had any chat, I think it is 8 months now. So just to satisfy my craving I add some chat masala to dishes which gives a real satisfaction. That is what I did to paneer that day when I was craving for a chat. As I am too strict about carbs, I try to avoid even onions on daily basis, but still have them once in a while. If you can’t have your chat without onions, then add some chopped onions on top of the paneer and enjoy. And also go for green chutney too. I wanted to have it as a crispy treat so I didn’t add any chutney here. But I added some dried rosemary for a little bit of twist in the flavour.

This is a quick chat dish. Between is there any particular reason for avoiding onions Gayathri?
It has some carbs which can be avoided Vidhya. I am trying to limit my carb intake to 20 gm a day.

How can you maintain very low carb diet with vegetarian dishes?
It is tough, that is why I also take eggs. Almonds give some protein.
