Pongal Pot Cake and Pongal Wishes

Wishing all my readers a very Happy Pongal

This is the pongal pot cake I prepared yesterday for a competition. Every part of the cake is edible. The cake is a layered cake with eggless vanilla and chocolate cakes. I also used a muffin pan for the smaller vanilla cakes. Decorated with vanilla butter cream, the froth is sweetened whipped cream. The deepas are candy clay filled with curdled butter cream to get the effect of ghee. Hope you like it.

I love painting, dress designing and of course cooking. This blog which started as an online cookery book has given me a great insight into baking and has transformed me into a home baker who is now thriving to learn a lot about cakes and decorating techniques. This blog has thousands of tried and tasted vegetarian recipes around the world and eggless bakes.
