FLAT BREADS

Mullu Murungai Chappathi

I have already shared about my experience with mullu murungai leaves. You can see the link to know about preparing the leaves for cooking. This roti was so colourful and it attracted my daughter very much. The preparation is very easy once you have the leaves prepared. Enjoy it with any gravy of your choice.

Ingredients:
Wheat Flour-2cups
Mullu Murungai Leaves Prepared-1cup(tightly packed)
Salt-to taste
Oil-2tbs

Procedure:
1. Grind the leaves to a paste.
2. Add flour and salt and mix well.
3. Add the paste and oil and mix well.
4. Add water and prepare a soft dough.
5. Keep it covered for 30minutes.
6. Make small balls out of the dough and roll out each ball into a thin disc.
7. Cook the discs on tawa with little oil drizzled on the sides.
8. Serve hot with a gravy of your choice.

I love painting, dress designing and of course cooking. This blog which started as an online cookery book has given me a great insight into baking and has transformed me into a home baker who is now thriving to learn a lot about cakes and decorating techniques. This blog has thousands of tried and tasted vegetarian recipes around the world and eggless bakes.
