Boiled Groundnut

This is a nutritious and guilt free snack perfect with a cup of coffee in the evening. This is a very simple procedure. You need a pressure cooker. If you don’t have one, then use a big pan to boil the groundnuts.
Wash the groundnuts 3-4times. As these are fresh they contain lots of mud. Once you wash them, place the nuts in the pressure cooker or a pan and fill it with water. There should enough water for boiling. Add salt to taste. Close the lid and switch on stove. When pressure has built up, put on the weight and wait for 1 whistle. Switch flame to low and let it cook for 10minutes. Switch off stove and let it cool down. Remove weight, open lid and filter out the water. Relish it when still hot. Press open the pod and remove the groundnuts and enjoy!

This blog which started as an online cookery book has given me a great insight into baking and has transformed me into a home baker who is now thriving to learn a lot about cakes and decorating techniques. This blog has thousands of tried and tasted vegetarian recipes around the world and eggless bakes.
