Fried Egg – Easy Paleo Recipes

This is the most easiest way of making eggs and one which I make for myself often. The procedure doesn’t even need a utensil apart from the tawa we use for cooking. The eggs are cracked directly onto the tawa and salt and pepper are sprinkled. My mom used to call this kannadi muttai. I don’t know why it got the name, but I remember the name till date. If a person likes runny yolk, then the eggs are not flipped. They are cooked until the whites are done while the yolks are still half cooked. But I hate them raw / half done. So I make sure that I cook everything evenly before I remove it from the tawa. Flipping the eggs is tougher when the yolks are raw, so I don’t flip them. I just fold it into half and let it cook on low flame until the yolks get cooked. The cooking takes roughly 5 minutes and you also don’t have to waste a bowl and a fork and you save on washing them.

  1. That’s my go to recipe on the days I wake up late and have to get breakfast on the table in time. And this is my daughter’s favourite way to have eggs. Lovely pick for protein rich dishes Gayathri

  2. I love eggs but don’t really like fried eggs. My hubby loves them. My brother makes the most perfect fried eggs. When he makes them the white does go brown and yet its cooked and the yolk gets done semi.
