Coconut Chutney

Chutney goes well with all South Indian dishes like dosa, idli, paniyaram, aappam, idiyappam and many more. I would like to share different varieties of chutneys in this label.


The Recipe:
Ingredients:
For the chutney:
Coconut grated-2cups
Fried gram- 1/8 cup
Green chilly-3
Garlic-1pod
Ginger-1 small piece
Salt-to taste
For Seasoning:
Mustard seeds-1tsp
Urad dhal-1tsp
Curry leaves-4
Procedure:
  1. Grind all the ingredients for chutney in a mixer grinder.
  2. Heat oil and add the ingredients for seasoning one by one.
  3. When splutters add it to the chutney and serve it with Dosa or Idli.
