Cabbage Salad – Easy Summer Salad Recipes

We start yet another month in Blogging Marathon and this week it is all about summer salads. I selected summer salads so that I could try out some for my daughter. I even listed out some exotic salads which can be served like desserts but unfortunately my daughter fell ill and still haven’t recovered fully. So all those recipes were set aside and I made some simple salads for this week.

The first of them is this delicious cabbage salad. I don’t go for elaborate dressings for salads. I keep them very simple yet full of flavour. If you love chats, then you will love this. It is completely healthy, filling and can curb your cravings for chat with its flavours. Use freshest cabbage as possible as you need the crunch. Older cabbages tend to go soft and won’t taste that great. I have added some roasted almonds and they add a beautiful crunch to the salad.
