September starts from tomorrow and if you are a regular reader, then you might be familiar with the month long marathon we do during September and April. Ever Mega Marathon is done with particular themes or A-Z concepts and this month the theme is so flexible. So unlike the other theme based Mega Marathons, preparing for this month was so much fun. Whichever BM I miss, I don’t miss these mega BM. When Srivalli mentioned about this BM before six months, I started planning immediately. At first my plan was to do 26 days of bread. As I love bread, I found it so thrilling to bake 26 breads and I also made a list with different categories such as flat breads, sweet breads, loaves, sourdough and so on. I also managed to bake 4-5 bread recipes before I started feeling unwell. You will understand it if you bake and eat bread continuously. And then came my hubby’s restrictions. He wanted me to avoid maida and go for whole wheat flour. And I started baking with whole wheat flour. Though I liked it there were no other takers for those whole wheat breads at home.
So I had to ditch the idea of baking bread for the whole month. Then I had a talk with Vaishali and she advised me to go for four different categories so that we will not be too bored to eat the same type of dishes. Then started my re-planning. As I was done with nearly 11 types of breads, I wanted to have them for this marathon. So I planned the menu keeping that in mind. As of today I am ready with four weeks of dishes and only the final week’s four dishes are pending. I selected dishes which will excite both Sruti and Hubby as I was not ready to eat them myself. In fact I kept myself away from most dishes and let them eat. Some I reserved for future projects which you will know when you read that day’s post. Every Sunday is a holiday during this mega BM , but I have posts ready for those days too. So this month is going to be super busy with amazing dishes along with cakes for my YouTube channel. Do not miss to read my blog a single day. I promise you, I will not disappoint.
Here is the list of categories I will be doing and I am sure you will have a great time reading my posts.
First Week ( 1,2,3 September) – Flat Breads
Second Week (5,6,7,8,9,10) – Indian Street Food

Fourth Week (19,20,21,22,23,24) – Indian Milk Sweets
