Now comes the alphabet D in the A-Z theme of Blogging Marathon #32 under street foods theme. Dahi papdi chaat has been in my to do list for long. A few weeks back I made some papdi at home ( for the step wise recipe click on link). I made corn papdi chaat (click on link for recipe) which every one in my house enjoyed. And next I tried this dahi papdi chaat and PK loved it so much that he gobbled plate after plate. There is no recipe for making this chaat. You add your favourite ingredients as topping for the papdis and finally top it with sweet cur and sev. You will never ever want to go to chaat shop again if you make it at home. I used carrot and boiled potato as the topping. You can also use boiled chick peas or any other lentils as topping. Green chutney and sweet chutney along with sweet curd is a must. You can also add onions but I completely forgot about it and remembered only while serving. They add a nice crunch and spiciness to the dish.
