This is a very easy dish and also tastes great. I saw this at Edible Garden and at once bookmarked it. My daughter loved it because, she likes marie biscuits, she likes choco butter cream and she likes choco chips. When I have assembled everything she likes, she was very happy. This is the third day of the week long Blogging Marathon organised by Srivalli. Please take a look at my friends blogs to know about their lipsmacking dishes. Procedure: 1. Mix sugar, milk and coffee powder. 2. Dip each biscuit and arrange on a plate one above the other. 3. Mix butter, icing sugar, cocoa powder and extract to a smooth cream. 4. Apply on the biscuits using a spatula. Cover all the sides completely. It may not be perfect. 5. Drop some chocolate chips on the top. 6. With a fork, draw lines around the biscuits, so that it resembles a log. 7. Freeze for an hour. 8. Cut into pieces and serve.
Photo Tutorial:
Mix the milk, sugar and coffee powder
Dip the biscuit in the coffee
Keep on a plate
Arrange 12 biscuits like this. I prepared 2 logs
Add butter, icing sugar and cocoa powder with essence
I love painting, dress designing and of course cooking. This blog which started as an online cookery book has given me a great insight into baking and has transformed me into a home baker who is now thriving to learn a lot about cakes and decorating techniques. This blog has thousands of tried and tasted vegetarian recipes around the world and eggless bakes.

Omg that looks mouthwatering!
Should I use salted or unsalted butter?
Is whipped butter easier for this recipe?
Thanks!
Martha
@Martha! I used unsalted butter for the butter cream. We don’t get whipped butter here. So I used the regular cooking butter…
