Today is the second day of Blogging Marathon#12 Group2. I prepared these delicious rolls for our evening snack. I served it with green chutney, sweet chutney and tomato sauce. I used crumbled paneer, bread and potato for these simple yet tasty rolls. I deep fried it but you can also shallow fry it or bake it to make it guilt free. The rolls had a crispy crust and the inside was very soft.
Ingredients:
Crumbled Paneer-1 1/2cups
Potato-1 medium sized
Bread slices-4-5
Salt-to taste
Red Chilly Powder-1/2tsp
Nigella Seeds-1/2tsp
Oil-To Deep Fry
Procedure:
1. Pressure cook the potato, peel skin and mash it. Crumble the bread slices.
2. In a bowl add the crumbled paneer, mashed potato, crumbled bread, salt, red chilly powder and nigella seeds.
3. Knead it to make a soft dough.
4. Divide into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a cylinder.
5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the rolls till golden brown.
6. Serve it hot with ketchup, sweet chutney or green chutney.

Gayathri, wanted to let you know from many months that it is hard to leave comments on your blog, especially thru internet explorer. It keeps me signing off whenever I try to leave a comment. I visit your blog regularly but has to leave without commenting for this reason. It was happening earlier with Harini’s blog too.

Hi, If you want to bake it, then go for 180C and keep on rotating the rolls until you get the nice brown colour on top…
