Tawa Pulao Recipe

  • Cooked Rice - 1 cup
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Onion - 1 small
  • Carrot - 1 small
  • Potato - 1 small, boiled, peeled and cubed
  • Ginger- a small piece
  • Garlic - 1 pod
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt -to taste
  • Pav Bhaji Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilly Powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves - 1 tbs

Procedure

  • In a kadai/ tawa, heat oil.
  • Add onion and saute until it changes colour.
  • Add crushed garlic and grated ginger and saute for a minute.
  • Add in cooked potato and cubed carrot.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt, pav bhaji masala and red chilly powder.
  • Sprinkle a little water, cover and cook until the carrots are soft.
  • Finally mix the cooked rice, add coriander leaves and serve it hot.
