Paal Ice / Milk Popsicle Recipe

  • Milk-4 cups
  • Corn Flour-2 tbs
  • Sugar-2/3 cup
  • Cardamom Powder-1 tsp
  • Grated Coconut-4 tbs

Procedure

  • Reserve 1/4 cup of milk.
  • Bring the remaining milk to boil.
  • Add corn flour to the reserved milk and mix well.
  • Add it to the boiling milk and keep on stirring.
  • Add sugar and cook until the mixture becomes little thick.
  • Remove from flame and add cardamom powder and coconut.
  • Allow it to cool completely.
  • Fill popsicle moulds.
  • Freeze for a minimum 8 hours.
  • For serving, place the mould below running water for 20-30 seconds and then pull the popsicle out of the mould.
  • Serve immediately.
