Ingredients
  

  • Wheat Flour - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Ghee - 1/2 cup
  • Water - 1 1/2 cups

Instructions
 

  • In a sauce pan mix together sugar and water and bring it to boil.
  • At the same time, in a pan mix ghee and wheat flour and cook until the flour changes colour and is aromatic.
  • Pour the syrup in two installments as it will splutter a lot.
  • Keep on stirring continuously when you incorporate the syrup into the flour mix.
  • When all the ingredients are combined to a smooth pulp, keep on cooking the mixture until it lets out ghee. 
  • Once the ghee oozes out of the halwa, remove it from heat and serve it hot or warm.
