Johnny Bread Recipe

Course Breads, Flat Bread

Ingredients
  

  • Maida/ All Purpose Flour - 1 cup
  • Sugar - 1/3 cup
  • Baking Powder-1 tsp
  • Salt-a pinch
  • Butter-2 tbs
  • Milk - 1/3 cup

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Add in melted butter, milk and mix to form a soft dough.
  • Divide the dough into four equal portions.
  • Pat them to form a round thick flat disc.
  • Heat a tawa, place the breads on it, add some melted butter on the sides and cook for five minutes on low flame.
  • Flip them and cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Cover the breads while cooking.
  • Serve them with jam or any spread.
