Tawa Pulao Recipe

Ingredients
  

For The Masala

  • Oil/ Butter-2 tbs
  • Cumin-1 tsp
  • Onion-1
  • Ginger Garlic Paste-2 tbs
  • Red Bell Pepper-1
  • Green Bell Pepper-1
  • Carrot-2
  • Tomato-2
  • Green Peas-1/2 cup
  • Broccoli -1 small
  • Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
  • Red Chilly Powder-1 tsp
  • Pav Bhaji Masala-2 tsp
  • Salt-to taste
  • Coriander Leaves

For Rice

  • Basmati Rice-1 cup
  • Water-2 cups
  • Salt-to taste

Instructions
 

Procedure

  • Boil rice along with water and salt and cook on low flame until done.
  • Set aside for cooling.
  • In a kadai, heat oil and add cumin.
  • Add onion and saute until translucent.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and saute until raw smell vanishes.
  • Add the spice powder and salt and saute until dry.
  • Add in carrots, bell peppers and brocolli.
  • Keep on low flame and saute until the vegetables are cooked.
  • Add cooked peas and give a nice stir.
  • At the time of serving, heat tawa, take a tsp of butter and some masala.
  • Add rice and mix on hot tawa.
  • Once completely incorporated, serve garnished with coriander leaves.
