In a bowl mix together flour, wheat flour, salt, sugar and yeast.
Add oil and water and knead to form a soft dough.
Knead the dough on counter for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place it in a oiled bowl, coat the dough with a little oil and cover with cling wrap and set it aside for one to 1 1/2 hours or until the dough is double.
Take it on the counter, press it to form a flat disc.
Cut it into 16 equal wedges.
Shape each wedge into a ball.
Roll each ball into a oval disc.
Apply some sauce in the centre, add some onions and top it with grated cheese.
Now fold the disc to form a half moon shape and press the edges well.
Use a fork to pinch the sides. Make sure to press it really well to seal.
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Cover and set the calzones for 15 minutes by the time the oven is preheating.
Bake the calzones for 20 - 25 minutes or until the top is brown.
Remove from oven and serve them hot.
