Preheat oven to 200°C.
In a baking tray, pour oil and spread it out.
Place the slices on the tray and rub so that the oil coats the slices.
Flip the slices and rub again.
Now bake it for 5-7 minutes or until firm to touch. Remove from oven.
While the bread is baking, prepare the filling.
Heat oil in a pan and add onions and sauté until golden.
Add finely chopped tomatoes and stir on medium flame until slightly mushy.
Add the sambar powder, turmeric and salt and cook covered for 2 minutes.
Add paneer and coriander leaves and mix well.
Remove from heat. Divide it into 8 equal portions and top the slices with the filling.
Press it down with a spoon.
Change the setting to grill. That means, only the top filament must be on.
Bake for five minutes or until the edges start browning.
Serve them hot.
