In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
Add enough water to make a soft dough.
Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover and set aside for one hour or until double in volume.
Divide the dough into three equal portions and shape them into balls.
Heat o to deep fry or shallow fry.
Roll each ball into a slightly thick round disc.
Deep fry them in hot oil until both sides are browned.
Top it with garlic butter, grated cheese and basil and serve it immediately.
