Banana Frita Recipe



  • Bananas
  • Oil To Deep Fry
  • Salt and Garlic Powder to taste



  • Peel the ripe bananas and slice them into 1/2" slices.
  • In a pan add water and some salt.
  • Place the sliced bananas in the salt water for 15-30 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Remove the banana slices from water and wipe out the water with tissue.
  • Deep fry in hot oil until golden.
  • Drain oil and place the fried slices in a plate.
  • Sprinkle salt and garlic powder and mix well.
  • Serve along with Rice and Beans.
