Home Made Egg Replacing Powder
Potato Starch - 2 1/2 cups
Corn Flour/ Corn Starch - 1 1/2 cups
Baking Powder - 2/3 cup
Baking Soda - 1/3 cup
In a jar, measure all the ingredients and add.
Using a balloon whisk, mix thoroughly until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Cover and store in refrigerator.
Quantities for Substitution
1 Egg = 1/2 tbs of powder + 2 tbs water
1 Egg White = 1/2 tbs of powder + 1 tbs water
1 Egg Yolk = 1/2 tbs of powder + 1 tbs of water
You can add the powder to the flour and add the liquid along the liquid ingredients or mix both powder and water and add it to the liquid ingredients.
