Honey Sesame Chilly Potatoes

Ingredients
  

For The Potatoes

  • Potatoes - 500 gm
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Tomato Sauce - 1 tbs
  • Flour / Maida - 1 tbs
  • Oil - 1 tbs

For The Sauce

  • Oil - 1 tbs
  • Tomato Sauce - 3 tbs
  • Sou Sauce - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilly Sauce - 1 tsp
  • Honey - 2-3 tbs
  • Sesame Seeds - 3 tbs

Instructions
 

Procedure

  • Wash potatoes and slice them into uniform fingers.
  • Add salt, red chilly powder, tomato sauce, flour and oil and mix well.
  • Line a baking tray with foil and arrange the fingers in a single layer.
  • Preheat oven to 180°C.
  • Bake the potatoes in the oven for 30-40 minutes or until soft.
  • Remove from oven and allow it to cool.
  • Heat a pan and add oil.
  • Add tomato sauce, red chilly sauce and soy sauce and cook.
  • Add a little water to make a thin sauce.
  • Add the cooked potato fingers, honey and roasted sesame.
  • Switch off stove and toss it well to coat all the potatoes evenly.
  • Serve it hot along with fried rice.
