Jowar Roti Recipe



  • Jowar Flour - 1 cup
  • Red Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • cup Ponnanganni Leaves - 1/2chopped
  • Onion - 1
  • Salt - to taste
  • Oil as needed



  • In a bowl mix together all the ingredients except oil.
  • Add required water to make a dough which is soft.
  • Heat a tawa, take a portion of the dough and place it on the tawa.
  • Dip your fingers in water and pat the dough into a thin disc on the hot tawa.
  • Drizzle oil on the sides.
  • Cook until both the sides are golden.
  • Serve it immediately or send it off in a lunch box for your kid.
