Eggless Vanilla Madeleines With Chocolate recipe

  • Maida / All Purpose Flour - 100 gm
  • Granulated Sugar - 75 gm
  • Baking Powder-1 tsp
  • Melted Butter - 50 gm
  • Milk - 125 ml
  • Vanilla Essence a few drops


  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Brush madeleine pan with butter and keep aside.
  • In a bowl, combine together, butter, milk, sugar and vanilla.
  • Mix flour and baking powder in another bowl.
  • Add flour mix to the milk butter sugar mix and mix to form thick batter.
  • Divide the batter between the moulds in the pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and immediately flip the pan and transfer the madeleines to the wire rack.
  • Let them cool a bit.
  • Melt chocolate, dip the corner of each madeleine in chocolate and add some sprinkles on the chocolate.
  • Let them set on wire rack.
  • Serve them immediately.
