Inalsa Stand Mixer Uni-Blend 1000-1000W
Inalsa Stand Mixer Uni-Blend 1000-1000W has been in my to buy list for a very long time. Any baker would relate to the “I need to purchase a stand mixer” dream so well. I have been longing for a stand mixer from the very beginning of my baking career. But when I see the cost of stand mixer, I just put that thought aside. Recently I saw some of my friends going for Inalsa. When I saw it in Amazon, I was tempted as it was within the manageable cost limit. But I was also afraid that it would be a huge flop as it is quite inexpensive and relatively new in the market. I waited some time. I speculated a lot and finally after discussing with one of my blogger friends, I placed the order.
Amazon delivered the stand mixer within three days of placing the order and when it reached home, I was surprised by how tiny it was. The whole pack weighed less than four kg and again I was not sure whether I made the right decision. Then I unboxed it and it suddenly stole my heart. Yes, it was tiny, light weight but so beautiful to look at.
The stand mixer comes with five attachments, 5litre mixing bowl, the dough hook, the batter attachment, the whisk and the lid. And occupies very little space in my cabinet. I do keep the mixer on the table, but all other attachments go to the cabinet. The bowl is dishwasher safe, but I am not sure about the hook. I wash them separately under tap water.
Inalsa Stand Mixer Uni-Blend 1000-1000W – Review
After nearly two months of working with the mixer, I can now say that, it is really good. Watch the video on how to use the mixer for kneading, mixing and whipping with different attachments, on how to assemble the mixer and a detailed review. You can also see my bread photos and cake photos which were made using the mixer.
Thank you so much for the review ma’am. ♥️
Hi Ma’m, thank you for the review. Does it shake a lot while kneading bread dough? Is it safe? I need it mainly for bread as I cant knead with hands due to health issues.
If you place it on kitchen counter or a sturdy base table, it won’t wobble. And it is completely safe. I have been mainly using it for bread dough kneading only.
Which one do u suggest for commercial
For commercial use, you need to go for Kitchen aid or Kenwood.
In case of making buttercream, what is the maximum quantity that can be made? Also in case of cakes?
You can go upto 200 gm of butter. I don’t think the bowl and blade can handle more than that.
When mixing the cake batter with the stand mixer how long should it be mixed after adding flour? Earlier I used to fold in the flour using a spatula rather than use my hand mixer as I don’t want to lose the air incorporated during creaming.
Mix until 80% incorporated. Always use a spatula for the final mixing. That way, it will be safe from over mixing.
Many reviews on amazon were saying that its extremely unsturdy and wobbly. Can you please clarify it? i’m anyway going to put it on kitchen counter. I’m looking mainly for whipping cream…Do you still think i should invest in stand mixer or hand mixer is sufficient for my need?
Just for whipping cream, a hand mixer is fine. But if you want to get a stand mixer, and if you are going to use it for personal use, then go ahead and buy this. They have even introduced a commercial mixer now. As for being wobbly, if the table is not sturdy enough, then it will shake. But if you are going to keep it on counter, then it won’t shake. I have tried both and now it is on a sturdy table.
Yes I agree. It doesnt wobble when kept on the counter. In fact it has a very good suction that I move it once a while only to clean the surface.
Hi Ma’am
I am a home baker and I usually whip cream in small batches for cake frosting and decorations. Is this good for whipping small qty of cream? Is the bowl too big for small batches?
Thanks
You can whip 300 ml in one go. Lesser than that would be hard to whip.
hello i just got the new inalsa stand mixer. can u guide with some proportions for dough kneading as to how much water etc .. because its kneading good.but am unabel to see the cluster form. the dough spreads all over . iam trying to make dough for rotis
Start with less water than you add while hand mixing. Stand mixers distribute water evenly in lesser time, so the dough becomes sticky. Try reducing the water content by half and add very little at a time until the dough comes together.
