In this post I will talk to you about making the best wheat orange cake with chocolate frosting made without an oven.
If you have asked me if it was possible to make wheat flour cakes that are quite spongy in texture and also eggless, I would have said no. But now I am a total convert. I have been trying wheat flour recipes lately and I must say, I am pretty impressed. Check out my latest Christmas cake, Chocolate cake to know what I am talking about. Now I am also planning on a Whole wheat Egg Free cakes class coming January. I haven’t yet put together the whole class, but work is going on and I may announce it during first week of January. I have been conducting online baking courses for beginners for the past two months and I am really happy with the students getting enrolled. If you are interested, mail me at gayathriraani @gmail.com for more details. I have a Beginner’s Bread Class as well as an yeast free bread class available right now in FB Group. You can enroll, watch the videos and try them immediately at home. Any doubts, I will always be there to clear them for you.
Nowadays, I plan my posts along with my videos in YouTube. So this week, it was another whole wheat cake made without oven for my channels. I am giving both the English and Tamil videos below. Take a look at them and please subscribe to the channel. The orange cake I made this week goes really well with chocolate frosting and it turns out really soft and moist and so delicious. Usually I go for chocolate ganache, but this time, I went for a condensed milk chocolate frosting which is very different from the other frosting recipes. I will do a cake decoration video with this frosting soon. May be next week.
If you are baking it in oven, set your oven to 180°C. The bake time is the same as given in the recipe. Look at the above image. I so loved the texture of the final cake. It is ultra soft and so yum. Do try this recipe and share your photos with me, either on FB or Insta of in mail. I would be happy to see your creation.
