I have eggs as part of my diet daily and eating egg scramble or omelette will become boring after a few days. So i try to make something different once in a while. You can check my recipes in my paleo recipes page(click for the page) Pizza is one dish I miss a lot, but when I tried the low carb versions using cauliflower base and fat dough base, I didn’t like both of them. So I didn’t even try it after the trials. Those two has cheese as part of the recipe. So with the cheese in the crust and the topping, the pizza tends to become really heavy.
After I started using coconut flour in recipes, I decided to give pizza a try using coconut flour. When I made it for my lunch one day, I loved it so much as it was not very heavy as the fat dough crust and cauliflower crust. If you love the usual pizzas, don’t expect the same in this recipe. This is a low carb version and is a delicious substitute for pizzas but never compare them. If you are on low carb for too long and if you miss pizzas, then do try this version. You will be really satisfied. I have made it thrice ever since I started making this and even Sruti loves it. She has it for her dinner and I add some extra cheese for her.
The best part of this recipe is that it is made on stove to. So if you don’t have an oven, then no worries at all. And if you have the sauce and cheese ready, the pizza takes hardly 10 minutes to cook. Check out my chunky pizza sauce I posted yesterday. Use it or use a smooth pizza sauce. I have done a simple cheese topped pizza, but you can add as many topping as you wish. Make it vegetarian using vegetables or go for cooked shredded meat. Everything would work fine in the recipe.
Egg – 3
Coconut Flour – 2 tbs
Salt – to tatse
Italian Seasoning Mix – 1 tsp
Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
Ghee – 1 tsp
Shredded Mozzarella and Cheddar
Whisk together coconut flour, eggs, salt, seasoning and pepper powder.
Heat a tawa and add some ghee.
Add the egg mix and cook on low flame until the bottom is done.
Gently flip the bread, apply sauce on top.
Top with shredded cheese.
Cover and cook on low flame until the cheese melts.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot out of stove.

- Egg - 3
- Coconut Flour - 2 tbs
