Ever since I saw the desi burger chat in Vaishali’s space, I was itching to try it out. And then I was one recipe less for this week’s marathon. And there was some buns in my pantry. So I decided to finish this week’s BM with this delicious fusion chat. I know the buns look super cute, but you will have to wait for the recipe. It has been reserved for December. But you can use any burger bun to make this chat. I am sure most of you will have green chutney and sweet chutney in your fridge. Then it is really easy to put together. This chat is from the streets of Haridwar.
I promised my daughter that the burger would be ready when she returned from school. So I did all the prep work and went to pick her up from the stop. After she came home, I fried the patties and assembled the chat immediately. She just loved it. I made only three burgers, one for each. So when hubby was relishing his share after he came home from work, I saw my daughter drooling over it. But still one burger itself is so filling.
When I first served my daughter, I used salted curd. But there was something missing. Usually I like sweetened curd in chats and only when assembling hubby’s burger, I remembered it. So only he got sweetened curd in his chat. And he gave me a thumbs up. I also added some sev along with the burger, which gave a nice crunch to the otherwise soft and creamy burger. So if you have the ingredeints at home, do try it immediately. You can thank me later 🙂
