Today is the first day of second week in Blogging Marathon and I will be posting under simple cake decorating ideas. For three days I will show you some simple decorations for cupcakes. We usually don’t get decorated cupcakes here in Madurai. When I started browsing the net for cup cake recipes, I came across some interesting videos for decorating cupcakes. From then I have made it a must to decorate cupcakes. Sky is the limit when it comes to decorating cupcakes. With a single cake tip you can do a lot of designs.
We will start with the rose petal tip today. Apart from making roses, it is used to pipe out various floral designs. I will give two simple designs here.
This flower has three rows of petals. Small individual petals are piped out repeatedly to get a row. The inner row is slightly higher than the first row and the inner most is higher than the middle row. The height is achieved by tilting the tip vertically.
