If you have travelled by bus through Tamilnadu, you surely would have come across crispy crunchy chips made with tapiaco roots also known as kappa kilangu or maravalli kilangu. Bus stands have petty shops and they surely stock packs and packs of these delicious chips. We buy potato chips for Sruti and kappakilangu chips for myself and hubby. It surely makes journey by bus so much fun. And I also take my favourite book with me. Tasting the chips while reading through the book with air striking across the face is my favourite part of the bus journey.
First I will give you the details of this month’s host for Walk Through Memory Lane before I go into the round up and winner announcement. Like last month, even this month’s host couldn’t help in me in hosting and I was not in a position of hosting this month’s event also. At that time, Prachi came in to help and I am really grateful for that. Thank you so much Prachi for helping me out. To know more about WTML event please click on the logo…
I am thankful to all my readers and blogger friends for the continuous support you are giving me for this event. The entries keep on increasing and I am yet to figure a way to file it all. At present here is a page dedicated to the event which has all the round up links. Srivalli has been very generous in creating a space for WTML round ups at Events and Roundups Blog. I thank her for this great help. This month Amritha of Motions and Emotions is guest hosting Walk Through Memory Lane. Please visit her space for details and linking your entries.
I know I am a little late in announcing this month’s WTML. Walk Through Memory Lane has been going on since 2012 and we have completed two years successfully. As we are entering the third year of compiling all our childhood favourite recipes, I would like to make this month special. As you all know, every month there has been a book giveaway for the past two years and there are 24 lucky bloggers who have got their gifts. I would like to continue the same this year also. To know more about WTML and the recipes collected over these two years please visit WTML Page.
I am late in announcing this month’s WTML due to some busy schedule. Last month’s WTML was hosted by Shailaja at Sahara Recipes . She has received a wonderful number of entries. Among the 117 recipes she got, I selected a winner using random number generator. The winner of last month’s WTML is entry number 42 – Easy Tomato onion Side Dish by Sangeetha. Please contact me at email@example.com with your Indian address and phone number to claim the prize
