I am thankful to all my readers and blogger friends for the continuous support you are giving me for this event. The entries keep on increasing and I am yet to figure a way to file it all. At present here is a page dedicated to the event which has all the round up links. Srivalli has been very generous in creating a space for WTML round ups at Events and Roundups Blog. I thank her for this great help. This month Amritha of Motions and Emotions is guest hosting Walk Through Memory Lane. Please visit her space for details and linking your entries.

I know I am a little late in announcing this month’s WTML. Walk Through Memory Lane has been going on since 2012 and we have completed two years successfully. As we are entering the third year of compiling all our childhood favourite recipes, I would like to make this month special. As you all know, every month there has been a book giveaway for the past two years and there are 24 lucky bloggers who have got their gifts. I would like to continue the same this year also. To know more about WTML and the recipes collected over these two years please visit WTML Page.
I am late in announcing this month’s WTML due to some busy schedule. Last month’s WTML was hosted by Shailaja at Sahara Recipes . She has received a wonderful number of entries. Among the 117 recipes she got, I selected a winner using random number generator. The winner of last month’s WTML is entry number 42 – Easy Tomato onion Side Dish by Sangeetha. Please contact me at email@example.com with your Indian address and phone number to claim the prize
After Mom’s Special as a tribute to my mom, I thought of doing another special event this month. Diwali falls on November 2nd and during the month of October, I will be busy making some sweets and snacks. As a blogger I know you will also be busy with preparations and main thing is that all your beautiful blogs will be full of Diwali special recipes.
If you are a regular reader of this blog, you would be familiar with the Walk Through Memory Lane event going on since 2012. I started this event to bring back the memories we had with food and to recreate those dishes which were close to our heart during those days. To know more about this event visit here. I should say I am really happy to have this event going steadily. And I should thank all my fellow bloggers who host this event at their blogs every month for making this event a great success. The round up of the event will have so many authentic recipes, it is like a huge recipe book. I have a plan to organize it into a recipe blog where you can see all the creations from bloggers around the world. But it may take a lot of time. Coming to today’s event details, last month’s WTML was hosted by Avika of A Day Through My Life. She has got a wonderful number of entries and I thank all the bloggers who sent their entries. Among the 137 entries, I selected a lucky winner through random number generator. The number is 135 and the entry is Dry Fruits Balls in Mango Sauce from Cooking With Poorni Blog. Congrats Poornima on the win. Please mail me your Indian address along with the phone number so that I can send you the book Mithai…
If you are a regular visitor of my blog, you would have noticed that this space has been silent for the past 10 days. The last day I posted in my blog was on August 19th which was also the last day I spoke with my mom. And it was my Anniversary too. I got her blessings on that day and I thought I was the happiest person on earth on that day. But the next day brought me the greatest sorrow of my life. My mom was hospitalised and she left us to heavenly abode 5 days later. Whatever I have accomplished and whoever I am today it is all because of her. She taught me everything I know now and I am the person who I am only because of her. She was the first person in our house to try out new recipes. I think with out her I would not be a good cook. She is my Guru, Philosopher and Guide.
This month’s Walk Through Memory Lane is hosted at A Day Through My Life by Avika
